Liturgical Environment Committee
Responsibilities within St. Jude Church worship space.
- Design and implement visual support for liturgical environment.
- Altar Cloth
- Flowers and plants
- Banners
- Decorations for liturgical seasons
- Design and implement visual appearance of entrances (reduce clutter).
- Maintain order of sacristies, storage areas, confessionals, and storage areas that do not contain janitorial supplies. This includes any closets and drawers within the rooms.
- Maintain and clean when necessary liturgical vestments, altar cloths, stoles, and other cloth items that belong to St. Jude.
- Maintain and clean when necessary any items that are used in the church for visual support. (flower pot stands, banner hangers, candelabras, etc.)
- Make the maintenance staff and/or pastor aware of any damage within the church that needs to be addressed.
