Liturgical Environment Committee

Responsibilities within St. Jude Church worship space.

  1. Design and implement visual support for liturgical environment.
    • Altar Cloth
    • Flowers and plants
    • Banners
    • Decorations for liturgical seasons
  2. Design and implement visual appearance of entrances (reduce clutter).
  3. Maintain order of sacristies, storage areas, confessionals, and storage areas that do not contain janitorial supplies. This includes any closets and drawers within the rooms.
  4. Maintain and clean when necessary liturgical vestments, altar cloths, stoles, and other cloth items that belong to St. Jude.
  5. Maintain and clean when necessary any items that are used in the church for visual support. (flower pot stands, banner hangers, candelabras, etc.)
  6. Make the maintenance staff and/or pastor aware of any damage within the church that needs to be addressed.
